We went out on Sunday the 18th to get the christmas tree, but it was so cold that Alayna stayed in the car with Nana. I think she'll be ready to drive on her own soon, she'll just need some blocks on her feet.  Posted by Picasa

Yep, she ate almost the entire apple. Posted by Picasa

Sushi!

We all went to Benihana for Bryan's birthday this year. (Note the silly balloon hat) We had a lot of fun. Alayna enjoyed the soup, and Bryan finally got some good sushi. We even got my mom to have some raw fish, but I'm not sure she knows it. Posted by Picasa

We rode the zoo train for a bit of a break. The little boy is Conner. He is Auntie Sam's nannying charge. He's a cute little kid, and the two of them had a lot of fun together. Posted by Picasa

Penguins

Alayna was having a great time posing for pictures in front of the penguin enclosure. Then one of the swam by too fast and suprised her. She practically leaped the 3 feet into her Gramma's arms. Posted by Picasa
We all went to the zoo. Alayna had a lot of fun, even though she didn't get to use the umbrella she took such good care of all day. This is one of her Papa's favorite exhibits, the Stellar Cove. Posted by Picasa

Well, you've seen the last two years of Halloween. Now we need a new costume. Any ideas? It's already halfway through October, and I don't know what she's going to be. I'm sure she will be cute no matter what.

This is Halloween 2004. Her bee suit fit better this year, but it was still a little big. This is in the middle of the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie's Island where we get our pumpkins.

Here is Alayna on Halloween 2003. We managed to find something that would fit her. The halo didn't stay on longer than for the picture, but she made a very good angel.

This was Alayna's first Halloween costume. Her mom and Grandma made it for her. It was supposed to fit her, but it obviously didn't. This is from October 2003.

Alayna at 1 month. We weighed her on the baking scale. She weighed 9 lbs. She's so much bigger, now.

This a picture of Alayna's tongue. She always sticks it out just a little when she's concentrating. (Yes, those are safety scissors.) Posted by Picasa

My First Post

Hi. My name is Robin. This little corner will be dedicated to pictures of my darling little egg (Alayna). No she doesn't always wear blue, but I think she looks cute in it. Have a good time looking at the pictures. I'll try to post them irregularly, and with wild abandon, but we'll see how that works out.
Anyway, Have fun.
